and i love how Ahmed attempted to pull EVERY single pitch in that atbat...........and of course he succeeds and grounds out to SS to end inning

he goes the other way and its 2-0.......but NAH...........lets get 2nd and 3rd no outs and no runs

Ahmed goes deep to tie the game. Listening on the radio and it sounds like Dodgers fans are clueless. Oohing and ahhing after every contact of a pitch. Can of corn flyball and the crowd goes nuts.

I am fast forwarding the DVR through the game. Here is what I noticed.

-Meada is a junkball pitcher. Once teams see him a few times, he is going to get hit hard.
-Beef getting thrown out at home is totally on Matt Williams. He had zero chance to score on that play.

I think he might actually get deep into this game. Call it the "Pedro Martinez pep talk affect". I think he'll work quicker and trust his fastball more. After all he is due for a decent outing and this ballpark at night can help.

IF.. RDLR pitches like he did in relief the other day, I think he would be a lot better. Normally you fall asleep waiting for him to pitch the ball. The other day for one inning, he didn't think, just threw.

D-backs with three minor league level bats in the lineup today. One is the pitcher, so that's understandable, but then we have Owings and Drury. Hopefully the guys that deserve to be playing in the pros can work around them.

I have no clue what Chip Hale is doing. Owings, Tomas, and Drury in the outfield at the same time? Okay so you have a shortstop playing center, a third basemen playing right, and a guy that should be exclusively a designated hitter playing left. Great job coach. Way to put your team in a position to win and play your best players. Seriously you have an awesome outfielder in Peralta and a really good outfielder in Brito and they are both benched at the same time. This manager is a disaster. I am calling it right now. I think he will eventually be fired.

Goldy looks like he is fighting a groin injury. That's back-to-back games that look like he is wincing after the play.
