I don't understand why they set it up like this. Why have 2 ACC schools play each other right out of the box?

Yeah, I would put them in different brackets.

Hard to say if that increases or decreases the odds of getting an ACC team into the championship series. In theory the championship series could be all SEC with Miss St and LSU in separate brackets. Same with the PAC.

It goes back to regionals and how they are placed. We were pre determinded to face the winner of the VT regional and then take on the winner of the CSF or UCLA regional winners in the super regional. I thinking NCst was the 16th seed team. Not sure. UNC is number 1 seed NCst is 16 seed. The only way I can make sense out of it.

I question these calls anytime they play a major roll in the game. yea, the kid was in the way, but was it intentional? It looked to me like his momentum carried him over the plate. But oh well, on with the game. You have to know better than to cross in front of the plate in those situations.
