Cue the pictures of my guy Jay hoisting the SB trophy over his turquoise colored jersey... a nice little side-eye and jerkfaced smirk to the camera. HA... Oh what they will say. Do the Bears play the dolphins this year? I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE... (Imagine if Jay throws a pick against the Bears. SMH... the internet will implode. ha)

The only way they'd play is in the Super Bowl. I - and probably a lot of the rest of the country - would love to see that, and if Cutler threw a pick 6 to lose the game, it would go down as an all-time moment in the history of the sport.

Won't happen, but would love it!

It's not my fault if it's bogus. I read it and posted it. Hell truth be known I really don't care if Jay plays again or not. I'm a Trubs guy now. Jay who?

Reports then came out last night that they're still having discussions about a contract.

So, who knows what to believe at this point?

My gut instinct says if Tannehill is declared out for the season, Jay will sign.

With all the money Jay made and all the injurys he suffered I don't get why he would play with no SB in sight. But good luck to the guy as I'm a big Jay fan. Jay the person not Jay the QB to be clear.

I think that as fans, we often look at that type of a thing too practically. Most of these guys really enjoy playing too, and Jay is very close with Gase. Obviously, he also had arguably his best season under him.

They're a team coming off of an 11-5 season, with a good line, good rushing attack, good weapons on the outside and a solid defense. Throw in his relationship with Gase, and this actually makes perfect sense.

I'm also sure Jay wants to walk away from the game with a good taste in his mouth. Last year was probably the worst thing to happen to him, as far as his football career goes.

I'm happy he's back. I have an AFC to root for now, and if the Bears go in the tank immediately once again. It just gives me more reason to pull extra hard for him.

There's prolly 13 million reasons for him to take the gig, if offered.

Yep... Signed. $10M plus incentives. I will always be a Bears fan first...but YOU guys know me...I'll be cheering on Jay in his fish helmet too. The fact he doesn't play against the Bears this year also makes it a little easier to cheer for him. My new AFC team too. Hope he stays healthy and can get the Chicago Monkey off his back. Good Luck Cutty.

I guess we see what might have been if they had hired Gase instead of Fox. Deal is for only 10 million, so there seems to be some unfinished business for these two.

Always been a big fan of Cutler. I always thought we should have signed him to one more year. But instead we go the Glennon route (who looks horrible btw). Cutler got a raw deal here with constant OC changes. He will thrive again in Miami.
