Crosby to Address Media Tomorrow..first time since April

Supposed presser going on at Consol tomorrow by Sid, 12:30pm.

Then he's flying to NYC for some national media event.

So...
No news... everything still iffy for the season?
Good news, he'll be at camp?
Bad news, he's shutting it down for the season?

I honestly have no idea at this point. My suspicion is he'll now bow out for the entire year, but not be there at camp. So... no news, still iffy for this year.... but who the hell knows.

I'm pretty sure it is the first or last selection, though. If he was good, we'd know by now I believe. Teams and players generally only hide injuries, not wellness.

Yep, no news on return time-frame. Still progressing, still minor symptoms, still not ready for contact.

Best part was the high-profile neurologists there saying that as long as he waits until fully healed, they expect a full recovery and a long productive career.
They just can't (still) nail down the date of the 'fully healed' part.

Eh, like Shero said, he's worth the wait.

Philly went through this very same thing with Lindross and man.........I wish we have had waited a lil longer......we might have another cup by now!

I'm thinking that the same doctors Sid has would cringe at the timeline and condition of Lindros all of those times that he came back from a concussion.

Yeah Fate it's a shame guys like Lindros went through what they went through. Only good thing to come of it is the fact that teams will allow a much longer window of recovery now.
