Didn't see another forum that this would fit into.
Been using COX cable for many years. Currently have a 4 room HD DVD setup that is costing around $200 a month. No premium channels.
I want to reduce this...
Looking at Direct TV with a 4 room Entertainment package which appears to have the same stuff as on Cox (sans Pac12 channel). This would be around $80 a month for the first year and ~$95 the second year.
Will hook up my Slingbox (gotta have that) to a mini-Genie wireless in my home office for remote viewing.
Curious if anyone has made this type of change and what they thought.
Note that I have Business Internet at the house for my business and that is not going to change, so I am not moving from Cox for Internet access with is currently 50/10mb w/16 IP's.
