Every year the college ranks provide a whole new crop of players.
And the AAF would be the new NFL.

Players are never going to do what you suggest so moot point.
Irving won't be missed.Hell Yeah Garrett. Don't take any more shit from these guys. They don't need a pat on the back, they need a kick in the ass...
“He told me I should just quit, smoke all the weed I want, the team didn’t need me. I’m a distraction to the team. "
Former Cowboys DT David Irving: Jason Garrett told me to ‘quit’ and ‘smoke all the weed I want’
Doesn't matter, the AAF can hardly afford shrubs no chance they talk players like Brown, Bell, Rogers to play for pennies. You been smoking to much weed. You don't know that.
Every player should smoke out, piss hot, and see what the NFL would do.
And he'll still be suspended. This time next year, he'll unretire.
They are competing for jobs with each other. While many may have indulged at one time or another, most won’t want this to be the issue they fall on their sword for.I'm surprised the pot smokers in the NFL haven't already done this. If I were an NFL player and wanted to toke up, I'd recruit every pro pot player to join in a smoke in, right before preseason testing. I don't know how many players smoke or want to smoke but I'd say the want number is very high (no pun intended) and there is no way the NFL could suspend them all.
I think it would force the NFLs hand to give up testing for it.

Yet this is where NFL player come.Every year most college players aren't good enough....

Not enough to fill the coffers if what was suggested happens.
You are most likely correct, but I could see it happening. However most likely the union will demand it in the upcoming CBA, and it will be an easy give away point for the NFL.They are competing for jobs with each other. Right now if Brady popped positive he'd be suspended and the rule would carry on.what it's going to take is the wrong high profile guys to do it. And get caught. Cause you know they are, just so far not caught so not in the gun sights.
