Season clearly on the brink at this point. I think they likely have to win out to make the playoffs and I just don't see that happening because I don't think they'll be able to beat the Boys.

this is one of those games, based on recent performances and on paper we should get smoked, just think we might keep it close, and blow it at the end as usual:eek:

Wow..I don't think I've ever see a worse Oline than the Vikes fielded last night...at any level

that being said I don't think they played that badly last night, if Bradford would stop throwing the ball -5 to 5 yards maybe they would move the ball a bit. The next time he checks down needing 8-15 yards for the first I'm turning the game off

A common complaint, but one play, the boys dropped 8 and rushed 3 (and still got some pressure), there was no one open. Most plays, he simply doesn't have time for WR's to get downfield

Clemmings isn't even a turnstile, a turnstile requires contact before letting someone pass through. He'd do better if he just fell on the ground and hopes someone trips over him.

Bradford took a few deep shots, but...Patterson gets called for pass interference, Johnson drops a nice pass that would have been a first down...blah..blah...blah. Everytime the offense got a little momentum, they'd shoot themselves in the foot, dropped passes, penalties, they're not good enough to overcome that shit.

Well, we go with heart breaking loss. Offense too inept in the red zone and ST mistakes

Defense played lights out

Not a fan of the OPI, and it sucks, would've had ball at Boys 25. And as you said, we just can't overcome shooting ourselves in foot.

got to give props to the D, no way I thought they'd hold Dallas to 17 points, and one of those TD came on a very short field. I was expecting a total blowout.

yup, they played way better against the run than I thought they would. On a whole though I think Dallas played way too conservative last night and it almost cost them

No offense, but you have generally been striking me as the least logical regular poster on this board. After the loss in Detroit, you argued up and down the line about how the defense deserved a large percentage of the blame despite only allowing 13 points before the offense giftwrapped Detroit by turning it over deep in Vikings territory at the end. The O, of course, struggled to put up a pathetic 13 points of their own. This time against Dallas, the offense was nearly as bad, only putting up 15 points, but they did manage to almost tie the game at the end (before blowing the 2-point conversion) rather than handing it over easily to Dallas. In both games, the defense squandered away small leads (which I don't blame them for - but you did, hence why I bring it up) in the 4th quarter.

So why does the offense deserve more credit for the loss against Dallas than they did in Detroit, while the defense deserves more praise? Again, the offense actually outperformed themselves compared to the Detroit game (albeit it marginally so), but last week, you were all upset about the defense as well. You make no sense, dude.
