If Cortez Allen can't find his game by next year...could he be cut?

Typically I'm not the knee jerk type, but I can't help but think they jumped the gun with his contract now the way he's playing...then I looked at his contract and I think it's possible he could be cut after the 2015 season.

He gets whatever time he earns this season and all of next season, but if he hasn't found some consistent form by then...idk. 2016 his cap hit jumps to $5.7 mil, '17 $5.6 mil, '18 $5.6 mil...I don't think they will be chained to him for that long for that kind of cash unless he does on a 180 on his performance.

I hope it doesn't come to that...but just saying.

I say that if he doesn't figure it out by the end of 2015, it should and must happen. Can't keep paying a guy that much if he can't play or make a major contribution.
