We can go round and round on this 100 times but in the end it's math. The more teams that make ANY playoff equates to more meaningful games not less . You want a system that prohibits great ooc games , makes teams seasons meaningless once they lose their 2nd game and turns the last week of the regular season into a big fat boring nothing burger . You want this in the name of "keeping the regular season meaningful " which is preposterous . The regular season was meaningless for most teams 2/3 of the way through the year

So the teams that were losing games, the season is meaningless? Shocking. Those same teams season end would be meaningless if it were a 16 team playoff. If we had a 8 or 16 team playoff, the SEC, B1G, ACC, and Big12 championship games are all meaningless.
