Baylor was up virtually the whole game. They certainly weren't the lesser of the teams.

No way was Baylor the much better team.

I had thought Baylor had 20 rushing yards...updated stats to show they actually had negative yardage running the ball.

Narduzzi's d was getting drilled all game except the 4th quarter. Please stop acting like MSU d was good, it was Gawd awful. Petty passed for almost 600 yards vs the vaunted d. In the end Baylor was too undisciplined to finish. Glad MSU won.

Their D was not good. But they did change tactics in the 4th quarter by putting more pressure on Petty. That diminished his effectiveness just enough and resulted in a couple of stops. I've been watching this team all year and have no illusions about their D. That was last year's team. People who talk about Sparty's D are still living last year's rep. But Cook was lousy for the most part today and there was no reason for it. He wasn't pressured much and he routinely had guys open. He missed a ton of easy throws. If he plays his average game they score at least 2 more TDs imo. That's why I say Baylor was not the better team. I think they're very evenly matched.

and now I get to watch good games where I don't really care who wins. Happy New Year. :suds:

No, just the losing one. Congrats on the moral victory.

Not even sure what your point is.

My point was MSU was not the better team as you or one of the other bucknut idiots stated dummie.

Never in the history of sports has the better team lost...it just don't work that way.

If I had my choice, I'd rather be the winning team. Your incessant whining is entertaining. Please continue.

Did the OP spell Bay(l)or wrong in the thread title on purpose? Probably jinxed them or some such.

Michigan State extends its Big Ten leading 4 consecutive bowl wins, two of which were "major" bowls. Season was still not a success for Michigan State. Hopefully we can do better for Cook's senior year.

It was classic the way the BU player sat up after he took that wicked hit, then gradually laid back, as if to say: "oh, shit, I think that I'll just stay right here and get in some nap time".
