Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain
to the Houston Astros and their fans
Enjoy your championship

#AnyoneButBostonEasy team to cheer for
As much as I think the Yankees would have done the same, I'm ok with the Astros
In the post season, the Astros beat teams that have a combined payroll of over 643MM
Bravo

Money doesn't buy championships ( at least in baseball)
No but money keeps teams that win championships together. No way Springer, Correa, Verlander, Altuve all get the money they deserve by Houston. That's why you don't really see teams go back to back like the old MLB days anymore. That's why the Mets were 1 and done 2 years ago. Couldn't keep anyone around because they didn't have the money.
Money doesn't buy championships?
Bullshit!
The Astros went out and bought Justin Verlander and would not have won the ALCS, much less the World Series, without him!
Really?! Geez you would think that this story would have been covered at some point.Always a big deal when a team wins their first championship ever. Congrats Houston. I'm glad we at least lost to the eventual WS champions haha.
Also, did y'all see that Ben Reiter predicted this in 2014? Impressive.
