I think the obvious choice for MVP thus far is Brady. But it also seems pretty obvious that an unbeaten Cam Newton is starting to make some Pats fans nervous. If by some miracle the Panthers finished unbeaten and the Pats lost a game or two the MVP voting would become a bit more interesting wouldn't it? I mean how could they not give the QB of an 16-0 team the MVP even if his stats weren't as impressive as Brady's? I think that is what has Rock (and others) a tad nervous.

I really dislike Cam. A lot. I agree he's not a great QB, but he's also not as bad as some people make him out to be either.

nope, and as far as the bad QB play in the nfl, hes definitely in the top half of the league. 2nd tier to me still with eli and flacco, etc.

Well that's where Brady fans (and some others) get stuck in single minded thinking. Because Brady is a great passer you think that is the only thing that can make a QB great. Newton won't be a Brady or Manning type of passer, but then again Brady or Manning will never be able to run like Newton, Luck, or Wilson. All those yards and TDs count, not just the passing ones.
