When Tennessee was a contender, stacking them with teams like Arky and Ole Miss made for tough games. Of course, those schedules for us were tougher because we sucked.

If Tennessee wants our schedule tougher, they need to get to a point where we aren’t winning 58-21, 45-7, and 49-10 over 3 years. That’s on them. As for the rest, we haven’t lost to an East team since 2010. Again, not our fault that division wasn’t up to the task for the better part of a decade.

Bama does have comparative schedules to the rest of the SEC only when they play at least one decent OOC game. It's great to see it when it happens, but it doesn't always. In most cases, Alabama's only challenging games are in conference. And everyone in the SEC has the same thing already (to varying degrees).

Alabama year in and year out has one of the easiest conference schedules. Part of the reason why is the fact that Tennessee hasn't been good. Alabama always has a bye before LSU and an easy OOC game before Auburn. No back to back gauntlet games. Take Tennessee for example, we get Florida, Georgia, and Alabama within a 3-4 week span in most seasons year in and year out.

LSU similarly usually gets Alabama, Texas A&M, and Auburn in a row.

If you look at just the schedules, Alabama is an easy pick.

Georgia's schedule is a lot more difficult. LSU has a tough schedule. Auburn and Texas A&M's schedules are murder row.

The similarity in all your tough schedules is they all have to play Alabama. If only Alabama had to play Alabama every year... Unfortunately, Tennessee ain't Alabama.
