It’s possible he’s playing well defensively but I’ve only watched a few of their games and they were all defence optional games except for last night against the Habs who are shit so I have no idea.
You don't notice him on the ice to be honest with you.

Then he will fit right in.

The Kraken have 50 points and games in hand... Seattle's wetting themselves and it's not because of the weather

I held off buying tickets to the Leafs-Kraken earlier on thinking they'd get cheaper as the Kraken sucked and the day drew nearer.

Nope. Going to pay $600 for the Mrs. and I to watch the Leafs lose 8-4.

Best team in the West

Yup, I really think it's a battle between Vegas, LA, Calgary, and Edmonton for spots 2 through 5 in the Pacific Division. One and possible two of those aforementioned teams will miss the playoffs.

Went to the Leafs home game in Seattle last night. There’s a lot of nice things about what they did with the barn but I probably would’ve just demolished and rebuilt. Its really missing a lot of what makes new arenas feel new.

I still think the SODO district and building a new arena would have been the better option.

I didn’t get down there so I can’t speak to what it’s like but I’ll say the location is pretty sweet. We stayed at the Hyatt downtown and walked to the game, didn’t take 20 minutes. Not sure what it’s like for locals coming in from suburbs etc though.

I’ll say this much, there’s zero chance an NBA team shares that barn.

When I was living/working at the Starbucks Support Center in Seattle, I had an apartment in the Queen Anne neighborhood which was about a 12 minute walk from the Space Needle. Nice area of town for sure, but not very much parking available.

It did seem more a residential area.

Flip side, only crazy people drive to sports events in big cities.
