To be fair, Dreger is 90% full of shit and in this modern age I don't buy the "team A was waiting on something and team B decided to pull the trigger elsewhere" bullshit. It takes months for trades to come together these days. What, ten minutes killed a blockbuster after a month+ of work? Nah, no sale.
Maybe the Sens were in on Hall but Chia thought the Devils deal was better (which, I don't think much of Ceci but I'm still not sure he's a worse d-man than Adam Larsson) but Dreger's just trying to get some Snes fans shit kicking here.
Well, yeah. You are but how does Ken-
Probably all true. Dreger is pretty useless.
Edmonton Penalty Kill, at 70.5% is at the lowest level seen in the league in 30 years.
blow it up.
dibs on that McConnor guy
Why you heff to be sad - Is only game...
When the Canucks lose I'm all "we need a couple more great picks"
When the oilers lose I'm all "draft picks WONT help this team"
I just don't see getting a high pick is good for this franchise at this point.
Starting next season McDavid, Draisaitl, RNH, and Lucic are going to be making 33 million. Let's say the cap is set at 80 million, that's 41.25% of your cap space tied up in those four players.
They're going to get Dahlin. I just know it.
Then they'll fuck him up.
I think Dahlin could be like McDavid (too good to mess up), that said, you wonder if McDavid would flourish more with another organization.
If the Leafs had gotten McDavid and then, say, Tkachuk or Keller the year after he'd be much better off.
Jonathan Willis isn't pulling any punches this morning...
I wonder if @thedddd has any of that popcorn left
Just going to nitpick here. I'm not sure how he blew the Talbot deal??? Why throw that trade in there?
I mean the other three combined are such a big shit sandwich, there is really no need to reach on the Talbot deal.
I think he's saying he's made 4 big deals and blown 3 of them, with the Talbot deal being the outlier.
Separate names with a comma.
