Ian Cole got fined 5 grand for the trip/slew foot on Sutter.

Thought he'd get a game or two for it.

PS - Anyone else not seeing twitter media showing up here?

I never do when I use my work computer (stupid firewall), but I do on my phone and home computer.

That Seth Jones for RyJo trade has worked out pretty well for both teams, but I would give the nod to CBJ as far as winning the trade is concerned.

I think I am over it :) The master stroke of picking PLD over PulyourRV helps a lot. Kid has impressed the ever loving crap out of me in every way.

Seth is in the mix for Norris right now. And he's just getting better. He is going to win one soon.

Individually? Probably. Jones looks like he could contend for a Norris soon (I'd say he could be a contender this season if he wasn't getting 60% of his zone starts in the offensive end). Johansen doesn't look like a 70-80 pt player in Nashville but the system Laviolette employs doesn't really allow for many guys to get near those totals (Nashville is 15th in the league in shots and 7th in goals). That might be different if he were on a more offensive-minded team rather than one that plays more to its defensive capabilities.

For what each trade did for the team as a whole though, Nashville came out ahead here thus far. Plugged a massive hole in their top 6, allowed Ekholm and Ellis to become defensive stars, trading for Subban was all types of victory for the roster and the cap and of course the team went to the Cup last year and look a good bet to get back. The Blue Jackets are only saved here by the fact the lottery balls were good to them and gave them a potential long-term 1C in Dubois.

The Red Wings have 4 goals on 13 shots.

The Blue Jackets have 2 on 33 shots at the end of 2. They have hit six posts. And Werenski took a slapshot in between the shoulder blades.

Looks like the ghosts of the Ohio Penitentiary have woken up.

Don't be to concerned, the Wings 3rd period meltdown will kick-in real soon.

Artemis Panarin just went all Yeast mode and tied it up.

And in the process scored his 80th point of the season, which is now the franchise record.

It is so sad to see him struggling so badly without Kane.

And no with a minute to go, Scut Farkus takes a penalty. sigh

I had to make a hard choice Thursday... Go to the Jackets game (which will be a great atmosphere) or sell my tickets and watch both the Frozen Four and the Jackets game on TV.

I definitely undersold my damn tickets. Shit
