I was wondering if the Caps might be interested in Burr but I dont know if he would be an upgrade for them in any manner ... Has Brett Connolly found a home with that organization?

imo probably ... especially with the low standards (in comparison to other teams) ... Hes scored some of the biggest goals in the franchises existance

Maybe Tony has softened over the years, just last week on the radio I heard him say that he loves Burrows.

Look, if he was a captain at some point or something, alright. He has less than 400 pts in 800+ games if he gets traded this month.

Just looking at the ring so far, it seems they're taking their time getting some obvious names on it. In 10-15 years if he's getting consideration is he going to be remembered among the likes of Smyl, Bure, Morrison, Naslund, Linden, Sedins etc. who are likely to be put up there in the meantime? Revered or not, he doesn't hold the wax from those guys' candles.

I recall Tony a couple years ago saying he was dead wrong about Burrows. The things Burrows did for the canucks over the years probably changed his opinion. He always said Hansen had hands of stone too. More recently (like in the past couple weeks), he's said Baertschi and Granlund arent the players everyone thinks they are or wants them to be

He gets things wrong alot lol

Bure got his jersey retired because a new team owner was a fanboy and didnt have that personal bad taste left in his mouth ... i think this would have to happen again for Kesler to get in ROH, imo

Won't speak on the poonerman but the other stuff is totally irrelevant. Canucks management from 2013-2015 was, politely, bad. He could've handled himself better but you're really going to hold against him the fact he wanted out from that tire fire?
