4) we are 26pts behind in the standings

but we beat them 6-3 the last time we faced them at home*

I think the Easter bunny is bringing us one step closer to last overall, if Edmonton would just win once in awhile!

Edmonton has four games left and have exactly the same number of points that they registered after 82 games last season. In summary, they have a well respected coach, a pretty good goalie, and the best young talent since Crosby and even with all that are still a raging tire fire.

As I was watching the game tonight I was thinking this is the best 2 periods of hockey I've seen the Canucks play in a long time. Then they manage to give up a multiple odd man rushes and allow a late one and it's like ya, should have expected that.

I'm not even mad, close is good enough. Truly sad...

It makes sense now. Benning traded Shinkaruk to Calgary to make them better so we could out tank them.

I look at it as Baertschi and Granlund for Shinkaruk and a 2nd. In that regard, depending on how Rasmus Andersson turns out, might be a pretty even swap over time.
