I haven't watched anything on him yet, but he's looking like he may be a nice late round quarterback for us. If we miss on Grayson, Hundley, Mannion and Petty, Fajardo looks like he may be a decent option in the 5th-6th round just as an insurance policy.

I'd like to see them get Bryce Petty. He's an intriguing guy that they might be able to land in the 2nd round.

Grayson, Fajardo, and Mannion will never be legit NFL QBs. Hundley has no shot. Don't bother...although if it means Jeff Tuel is replaced, why not?

We can debate those guys all day long. They are all probably in the eventual NFL scrap heap category so it does readily lend itself to debate. I don't think Petty would be ready to start Week 1 or anything, he's just the only guy I briefly think might have a future...the others I'm confident we'd be wasting a pick on.

Edit is at the bottom left of the posting window, but it's only there for maybe 5 minutes after the post.

In terms of later round QB flyers, don't leave out these guys:

Bryan Bennett (SE La): Transferred from Oregon when he lost the starting job competition to Mariota. Confident leader with mobility in and out of the pocket. Dual threat with his running ability. Average arm and has struggled with accuracy this past season.

Connor Halliday (Wash St): Spread offense gunslinger with decent size (a bit lean though) and an NFL arm. Didn't participate at the combine as he is recovering from a late season broken ankle.

Brandon Bridge (S. Ala): Lanky but mobile QB with a cannon for an arm. Only has one season of experience and will need substantial development.

Halliday is interesting. His numbers are a bit inflated since his team has been so awful and they are usually playing catch-up, prevent defenses, etc. After the Jeff Tuel experiment, my gut tells me to stay away from Washington State QBs.

Halliday was record-setting though (Bledsoe was also a WSU QB). Guy is another Napoleon Dynamite look alike, lol.
