They both only played 1 good team. I'm sorry but A&M and LSU are not good football teams. All of them have 1 win against a team ranked in the current top 15.

But FSU hasn't looked as good.

It won't. FSU should be fine if they win out of course but there will be 2-3 teams that get royally screwed and are left out of the playoffs. I can feel it already.

I disagree with this. Yes, there are going to be more than 4 teams that will be deserving of a playoff spot. That doesn't mean that the ones that get left out are "royally screwed." There just aren't enough spots. It's an impossible task to determine the ABSOLUTE top 4, no arguments, no questions. Seriously, it's not going to happen. I think as long as the 4 teams all deserve to be there, the committee will have done a good job.

Now, if you're arguing that teams that truly do not deserve to be in the playoff will make it, that's a different beast. Then and only then will I agree that a left out, deserving team got screwed.

Anyone on our schedule except for Samford can beat us although South Carolina is a stretch. We still have the toughest schedule left in the country:

Texas A&M
Ole Miss
Georgia
Alabama

If they don't get the running game straight we are in trouble down the stretch but the coaches realize this and that's why freshman Roc Thomas got some work Saturday. What I don't understand is why he didn't get more work in the San Jose State & LSU games.

Not to mention red zone play calling issues that the coaches can only point to themselves.

Auburn has a chance to finish strong but I'm thinking there is at least one more loss there.

Gotta love the polls. FSU has been dominant in mostly every game except for the game which Winston did not play and they get jumped.

That's the big problem with preseason rankings, people with this mentality. This team started ranked higher, you can't punish them for winning.

Mississippi State has been more impressive than FSU this season. Don't let preseason rankings hold you back from ranking the best teams we've seen play this season.

Doesn't really matter though. Both teams control their own playoff destiny.

Yep 21st in both polls and I don't know why. They beat an overrated South Carolina team, struggled with Arkansas, and got shitted on by both Mississippi Schools.

Yep that's worth a top 25 ranking

It'll help Bama's case when they beat a ranked team next week.
