Yea, I'll take the w but wonder how this team is going to score when they play teams that aren't going to make 2 errors and walk the bases loaded a couple of times a game.
Currently, the Cardinals can do no wrong. While I wait patiently for them to start pooping on their own shoes, I think staying even is going to be a very big challenge.
Teams that come after the Reds and get a strike on the first pitch are beating them. The scouting report says to pound it in the zone on the first pitch. Maybe Choo sent a message to his teammates.
In case anyone was needing any further proof on how good it is to be an MLB player.
Suffice it to say none of the Cincinnati Reds will ever go hungry during one of the team's charter flights.
Dallas Latos, the wife of Cincinnati pitcher Mat Latos, tweeted the team's menu for the flight from Chicago to Cincinnati over the weekend. And it is something else. It includes pre-departure snacks, dinner, snacks and beverages. All for a roughly one hour flight.
Here's a recap: Pre-Departure Snacks: Individual personal pizzas, California sushi rolls, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, assorted chips, shrimp cocktail, fresh fruit cups. Dinner selections: Carrot cake, Fried shrimp with macaroni and cheese and sauteed haricot verts, chicken stir fry with jasmine rice and stir fried vegetables, baked lasagna, bleu cheese and spinach entree salad with a grilled beef fillet on top of a salad, angus beef burgers Snacks: Haagen-Dazs ice cream bars, caramel popcorn, fresh fruit and cheese, assorted candy bars, mixed nuts.
I can imagine what Kimbrel was saying after the game. ... "piece of crap ballpark."
Yeah, Craigie ... that one that Choo hit would have stayed in most parks named Yellowstone.
80% of teams that score first win. Already going against the current, Mesoraco hits his first HR of the year against Kimbrel...not that big a miracle Choo hits another, but odds of doing it against Kimbrel are low. I'll take it.
The Braves are a good team. They don't need much charity to get rich.. Runs are insurance, and early runs are a good investment in winning...for every lottery win in the 9th, there are several more losing tickets in the trash, that would have been better spent on singles, doubles and sac flies in the 2nd inning.
