Sad but not all that shocking. She was a trainwreck after WWE. Couldn't keep it together. She had a great run there for awhile with WWE. What a shame
What happened?
As noted, the official page of former WWE star Joanie “Chyna” Laurer is reporting the former WWE star has passed away at the age of 45.
According to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com, Laurer’s manager has confirmed she was found dead Wednesday at her home in Los Angeles. Sources close to the situation claim Chyna had been on medication for anxiety and sleep deprivation.
Transformed the "act" the "show"She Transformed Women Wrestling to what we see today.
Sadly she will be remembered for the trainwreck
Well now I can see WWE inducting her into the HOF that she's dead, no chance when she was alive but a few years from now it'll happen.
Depends on the cause of death IMO.Even with her passing, do you think Stephanie will allow this?
IF she doesn't get into the hall of fame then that's bullshit. Who gives shit if her death was overdose or drug addiction, whatever. You know how many wrestlers have died due to addiction? Farrrrr too many. How many current wrestlers are addicted currently? Probably again, farrrr too many.
Chyna deserves go to into the hall due to what she did for wrestling. Absolutely trail blazed the way for Women wrestling. She was the effin Intercontinental Champion, and wrestled guys majority of her career. It is what she did in the ring that she deserves to get into the Hall of Fame.
But I think we can all agree the WWE Hall of Fame has absolutely zero credibility and there is no outline on what gets you in.
IMO, McMahons have absolutely NO room to say someone cant get into their made up Hall of Fame because of their addiction....The Culture McMahon has created from the era of wrestlers Chyna was apart of is all about drugs. Granted WWE seems to have taken a more aggressive approach to their substance policy now.
