looking at this schedule first glance i think it's possible the Chiefs are looking at a .500 season, though 10-6 is certainly not out of the realm of possibility...

In looking at the schedule a 9 and 7 season looks likely. We could go for 10 and 6 but it all depends as to whether or not Reid can get these boys to play like an NFL franchise on gameday. This is a team with loads of talent that has suffered due to horrible coaching and play calling over the past few years. I have a feeling that Reid and the staff he's put together can get this team turned around right quick.

Just got here from the CBS boards.....I have been a Chiefs fan since the 60s....sched looks good for a decent season.....I am going to get to go to 2 games this year....in Buffalo and Washington....If Reid can get the D to play tough and not like pussies they could win 9 or 10.....

i'm REALLY feeling positive about the stories i'm reading from OTA's. i have a feeling we Chiefs fans are gonna be pleasantly suprised with this team this upcoming season...

I'm feeling the same thing. Reports out of camp have been very positive and it is great to see that the voluntary workouts pretty much turned into whole team activities.

Reports about Smith at QB as well as the defense have been great as well giving me plenty of optimism about the upcoming season.

yep. i don't want to get ahead of myself here but i truly think the Chiefs could be in for a 10-6 season, and possible wild card. we'll see how it goes, though...

try forum tools. i believe that's how you do it. anyways, i'm with you. Albert NEEDS to be signed long term and the FO needs to take steps to get that done. definitely interested in seeing how they deal with that issue...

I do believe KC will shock and surprise fans. I actually feel KC will be in playoffs this year, and may even gain division crown again. SD twice and Oakland once came from bottom of Div. to playoffs next season, so KC will probably do the same. I admit that is asking KC to up wins by 9 or more, but I don't see that as impossible. D is greatly improved in secondary, and LB's are the best, leaving only the DE to DE in question. Offence is concern, with top running back, but did KC upgrade receivers enough??? I believe QB play is definitely upgraded. WCO will be interesting to watch.
