I think the Champions Classic is a unique treasure...a 3-year round-robin feast of elite basketball in the first week of the season. I'd like to see the event continued, even if my Spartans weren't on the slate.

Duke is 2-0...UK is 1-1...MSU is 1-1...KU is 0-2 in the series

I agree, I'd love to see it continued. Wouldn't mind seeing this next year with new teams.

For instance: UNC, Indiana, UCLA/or Arizona, and maybe like a Uconn. Gotta have 4 teams from different conferences. You could conceivably replace UNC with the Cuse or L'Ville too. And do the same in the B1G with Michigan or Ohio State.

Either way, love the event and am looking forward to the final year of these teams.

Tickets came from east Lansing so I'm probably in the michigan st section. I was surrounded by them at the big 10 tourney last yr. they were a good crowd

might not be that much of a problem...MSU's free throw % is pretty sucko...and Cal's bench is pretty deep.

I finally got to see a rerun of MSU's last game (McNeese State) last night...Sparty's style of play hasn't changed a bit from last year - but it's 'crisper', more assured and perimeter-deadly, by far. That's going to play a big difference, imo, in the game tonight.
