I understand that it was outside that box but if you look closely at the box...its only as wide as the white of the plate and that pitch was on the black of the plate...so pretty dang close...just hope Harrison gets those calls as well and all will be well

We look at too many first pitch strikes.

I disagree. I would rather them do that and see what the pitcher is throwing, than see a bunch of 1 pitch outs.

Matt Harrison has an era under 3 with Napoli catching and over 5 with Torrealba. So of course Wash catches Torrealba tonight. Makes perfect sense.

Agree. This guy isn't going to command the zone like Cliff Lee, and if you can get him to wear down he will elevate his pitches.
