Other than the basketball team. I have no optimism whatsoever about this years football team. This has got to be the worst year of Tennessee football since I was old enough to remember. So, with that said... what are the bright spots? Are there any? Its not Darick anymore.... ha. Justin Hunter? Is he someone i can feel good about? When I think about the upcoming season it makes me want to puke.

I know what ya mean, man. This season will suck. UT replaces UCLA with Oregon and Auburn with LSU. Have fun with that. All this off the field shit doesn't help either. A bright spot...our recruiting class is looking a lot like the Trojans. The Troy Trojans...haha. Oh well, I'm still excited about football being so close. Maybe the Vols can surprise some people with a upset over Oregon, Florida or Bama or somethin', who knows.

I think this season will be slightly better than last. Ya have to remember, even though UT was 6-7, they were literally 2 plays (@ LSU, UNC) from 8-5.

I believe they'll go 8-4 this season. Anything under 7 wins will be a major disappointment, IMO. I see 8-9 wins, depending the Bowl game outcome.

Don't forget, we played A LOT of youth last year, it's gonna pay dividends this year. Still a tough schedule, but I like the direction with Dooley.

Yeah, and the team is still really young. I know this season hasn't even started, but I'm REALLY excited about the Vols in 2012. Bray will be a junior by then and all of the fr/so from last season and this season will have experience.
