Why isn't 10-2 ND playing 10-2 Florida? I don't get this.

Now, we're stuck with shitty UVa and nobody cares.

And Iowa State playing 9-4 Virginia! AS I have stated before (in other past Bowl match-up threads), the Orange, ACC and ND should have gotten together and agreed to a compromise that would have sent ND to Miami and Virginia to Orlando and give ND the CWB money and UVA (ACC) the Orange money.

Seriously if the 2nd best ACC team has 4 losses or more they need to be replaced with Notre Dame if they have 2 losses or less

Which has me worried because Kelly rarely finishes teams off. He’s comfortable with a 14 point lead right now. In his second season in this very bowl game he let FSU back in the second half and blew the game.


Difference is Clark Lea makes great halftime adjustments. He rarely gets bamboozled for more than a quarter.

Oh, ND will probably still win. ISU has some really good skill players, but ND has better athletes across the board. The better team is winning.

That being said, part of me would have liked an easier Bowl opponent to finish 8-5, but I think ISU has the potential to be GREAT next year and playing up against ND will be more beneficial for the program in the long run - even in defeat (as long as it is not a blow-out).

So, Let's Go State! Play Hard and Play Smart and see what happens in the 2nd half! Need the "Luck of the Cyclones!"
