Pryor was on his way out as soon as the Jets drafted Adams.

After drafting back to back safeties in the first 2 rounds of the draft, the writing was on the wall.

I was a pretty big fan of Pryor before the '14 draft. One of the more physical safeties that I had seen in a while. If he couldn't make it in NY then I don't see how Cleveland could be any better for him.

It's all about the schemes.......This could turn out to be a very interesting trade....

As a physical safety, maybe he needs a position change like Mark Barron did. Move Pryor to a big nickel OLB.

As a Packers fan, thank you, Jets, for drafting Pryor instead of Clinton-Dix.

Well Shop you know the Defense, it's Gregg Williams can you see Pryor thriving in his defense?

I haven't seen much of Pryor play (not a Browns fan), but it was Gregg that turned Barron from a struggling safety for the Chiefs to a very sufficient big nickel OLB (or hybrid OLB/S). More and more teams are using big safeties as OLBs these days to compete against the prevalent passing games of today's NFL. Pryor is a little smaller than Barron (5'11 207 to 6'2 213), but I would guess Gregg played a large part in this trade. Surprised a bit though, as I always thought Demario Davis was a pretty solid LB in his own right.
