No biggie. When someone tells Saban what happened his first thought will probably be "who the hell is Cale Gundy?". It was stupid, he deleted it and he apologized. Gundy made some bad choices while he was playing QB too. But it's OK; he's 41 now....he's a man like his brother.
A good post. I was just commenting. Sorry if you took it that way.
I miss the days when people could say what they wanted to say and stick by it. You know the guy isnt sorry he said it. I hate those fake apologies. I guess people do it to keep their jobs but man it just feels like the pussification of America is alive and well everytime I see shit like this.
I imagine now it more or less goes by trying not offend anyone because you may need their vote in the coach's poll or something down the line.
The day of the Barry Switzer's being out there are pretty much done.

During the week leading up to the OU/NU game in 1980, Husker fans, predicting a Nebraska win, were saying that the Sooners would enjoy the Mexican food when in El Paso for The Sun Bowl while Nebraska enjoyed Miami and the Orange Bowl. That was my first thought. He's not the first person to say something like this, and its definitely not the worst thing said about Saban.
It is funny though to see how Saban opened himself up to all of this although gump fans don't seem to want to admit that.
It's funny there's 50+ pages of them defending St. Nick against anyone on the board but this is no big deal to them.

Maybe it means it's not the part where people are saying crap about Saban that bothers us, it's just what people who want the HUNH do in order to keep the focus away from legitimate discussion about the topic.
