Joint possession always goes to offense. There were 2 plays in the 2014 Iron Bowl where this happened,thats how I know of rule.

That wasn’t a screw job — Ward actually aided in the TD. The replay shows the ball bounce off Ward and into the arms of the PSU player. It wasn’t until it went to the ground when the wrestling match started.
