Bubble Watch heading into Selection Sunday

I'm watching this Case/U game and I see on the bottom line that lunardi has moved Vandy into lock status. Found that interesting since they haven't played since Saturday.

I noticed that too. I'm not entirely sure I agree with that. I thinl Vandy gets in but if they lose their first SEC tourney game I can't see them being a lock. As an Iowa fan I'm interested in this Syracuse game. I thinl a loss my Cuse puts them in a serious predicament. Of CCG ourselves I didn't think they belonged in last year either so what do I know lol

They certainly have a ton Cons, but as we saw last year, the committee really valued quality wins, which Syracuse has. I would take Wake Forest and Vandy over them, but there still may be room for Syracuse at the table depending on what happens elsewhere.

Just an overall intriguing resume.

Yeah that may have worked in Cuse's favor last year. If they get in, my guess is that they'll be the last or 2nd to last team in the field.

Correct. Quality wins were the same, but they had a much better RPI, Non. Conf. SOS and more road/neutral wins.

I honestly don't see how anyone has Cuse in right now. There are 3 or 4 teams that are considered behind them in the pecking order that have equal or better resumes. If Syracuse gets in it will be because they are Syracuse. That's really it

Yep. I fully expect them to not be in Dayton. It's irritating to listen to everyone slurp them. They literally beat no one on the road or neutral all year that is even close to a tourney team and have 5 bad losses. I don't get it

A shit ton of the media went to school at Cuse. I agree, its very annoying.

Syracuse's RPI is 82.....right behind Fresno State and New Mexico (Hell they are behind Indiana too)

They have no business being in the tournament

But here we are.
