Bryant Done For Season

Freshman RB Bryant is done for the season. Good news is he didn't tear a ACL or anything like that. He has Knee Tendinitis. He needs 4 weeks to heel. So ND is just going to redshirt him. He only had 2 carries.

On the other end Folston has been great so far and should see more playing time. The odd man was suppose to be GA3 but he had a breakout game. Now it looks like it might Carlisle.

yes they do. he will get a medical redshirt. Kelly has already said it.

It's not the same kind of 5th year as most schools, they have to apply for it and get approved.

Yes it is but at pretty much any other school a player can pretty much get an automatic 5th year.

Grace and likely Smith are also done for the season. Grace really wanted to slow down the ASU offense so he broke his own leg . Smith fractured his ankle.

Grace is a huge lose considering how poor Calaberese is covering RBs.

Calo can cover. They have to have a freshman that can step in and cover someone. Maybe we should go to a 4-3 then and limit it to 1 MLB. So we dont have 2 bad MLBs in the game.

While we have not redshirted, I have no doubt that Kelly will be pushing very hard to start the practice at ND. One more step in remaking Notre Dame into Cincinnati.
