happy they lost really sucks Charles got hurt ....I know TD getting hurt to this day still sucks to this day ..Hope Charles comes back stonger than ever .

I was wondering about the mood in KC. I had a couple of Chiefs/Royals fans that live in my area that yeah today is a terrible day. I would guess about 60% of the town I live in are Chiefs/Royals fans and I think I might be one of the few today with a smile on my face. This reminds me of when living in Seattle back in 2012 and I was working when the Broncos lost to the Ravens in ridiculous fashion. All the Seahawks fans couldn't wait to come down and tell me what happened to my team. That was maybe the closest I have come to punching a co-worker. They just would not let it go. The next day then of course the Seahawks lose in dramatic fashion to the Falcons if I remember right and the whole town was so upset. I was the only one at work with a huge smile on my face. I made sure every one of my co-workers could see the smile on my face. They didn't find it quite as funny as I did.

Yeah if the Royals lose today, it could get really ugly here. Everyone will just start focusing on college basketball, probably.

I haven't gone over to AA or AP yet. I"m sure the panic level on those boards is ridiculous right now. Hate to see Charles go down for sure but don't hate seeing the Chiefs struggling a bit. I have had both Chiefs and Ravens fans go nuts all off season about how their team would destroy the Broncos and would be easily one of the top teams in the league. This is why I don't like to get too carried away even if I do think my team will be a top contender. This league has a funny way of taking down some of the top teams in the league in a hurry.

I'm so glad we were on the other end of that equation. After the win and calming down I did start to think of what would I be feeling right now if I were a Chiefs fan or a Chiefs player? I can't imagine the devastation when that game had been built up to almost playoff style atmosphere.

I really think losing that game has wrecked their season. They really did build it up to be so huge. They were treating it like a must win game, they were so hyped up to finally beat the Broncos. I think if they hold onto that game they win one of the next two, and they certainly beat the Bears yesterday. But losing that way in such a soul crushing fashion, they just haven't been able to overcome it.
