Retiring a Colt, most players do this.
Luck is out next year?
I heard it's a ceremony that will honor him as the GOAT.
Robert Kraft is protesting.
He's not officially retiring as a Colt because he already retired as a Bronco and Denver still holds his rights. He's going back to Indy for a special celebration of his career, that's being hosted by the Colts. Irsay will have rainbows and unicorns coming out of his ass on this one. Just another chapter in the Peyton Manning retirement tour.

For example, in 2012, Pat Burrell was a scout for the Giants. they allowed him to sign a 1-day contract with the Phils so he could have his ceremony to retire with them. It was just a ceremonial contract, but it was still a contract, and he was also still an employee of the Giants.
I have seen this sort of thing happen at other times, I just remember the Burrell situation specifically.
I wonder if Irsay is supplying the booze????
