As I've stated, the division to me, is irrelevant. I can't think of a marquee matchup that Klitschko has, and that ties directly to the greatness. Ali had Foreman, Liston and Frazier - all truly great fighters in their own right. At least Tyson had a 90 second destruction of Michael Spinks that forever established him, but the signs were there that the heavyweight era was ending.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree then.
The Klitschkos have dominated the heavyweight scene so thoroughly for so long that it's tough to create any marquee matchups. The guy you would probably recognize most that fought one of the Klitschkos is Lennox Lewis. Vitali fought him on short notice and gave Lennox the fight of his life. He was leading on all three scorecards when the fight got stopped because of a cut. Lennox was smart to retire instead of giving Vitali a rematch. Lennox saw the writing on the wall.
