At this point, I’m putting this on Tommy Rees playcalling. You know that you’re marginal at QB. You’ve had the offense on the field all second half and have earned the right to lean on the strength of your program (OL). Just dumb football. But great play and finish by the Carolina defense. The vaunted SEC is now 1-4 and the one win was against Kansas in triple overtime. Kansas? But don't worry at least 3 of these 5 will be in the Top 15 to start next season.
So with Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee, that will make 6.
Alabama, Georgia and each season 1 other SEC team are the cream of college football. But the idea that the rest of the SEC is head and shoulders above all the other conferences is a myth.

My knee jerk comment was early in the game. If I’m being honest, they really lost a chance at a solid evaluation of him when he got hurt. He has some ability but he needs a lot of work with decision making accuracy and mechanics. It’s early to give up on him but ND really needs better QB play than what they got this season. It’s been the single position holding them back from competing with the elite.
