Bowl Projections thread

So let's get some speculation going, because even though VT has been terrible, they still get to do something UVA doesn't again this year: GO BOWLING :bowl:

I've heard Hokies vs Gators in either the Independence or Quick Lane Bowl, but I'm secretly hoping for a Hokies vs Vols matchup. I've also seen some projecting us in the Cactus and Bitcoin Bowls, so who knows?

The Bitcoin or Independence would be my guesses, but I'm interested to hear what everyone else thinks.

Gators would be an intriguing match-up, although I'd rather play a game where our offense can hopefully have some success and leave us with hope heading into next season.

Thought I heard Bitcoin and Military were the only representatives at the UVA game. Whatever bowl is in Detroit vs. a B1G school is an option as well.

Should be the Military Bowl on Dec 27th. ACC vs AAC (remnants of the Big East)

There is actually more bowl eligible ACC teams than ACC bids, so we could also go somewhere completely random as an at large type bid.

As long as we play a Power 5 opponent it doesn't really matter to me. I would imagine VT will be high on the list of the Belk and Military Bowls.

I'd rather finish with a winning record. Never seen a losing record in all the years I've been a Hokie fan.
