That must be one of those South Detroit (aka Windsor Ontario) fans.

Not the match up I would've preferred but its the playoffs and time to step up. The Bruins are built for the playoffs but recent history has shown they're most vulnerable in the first round, so I'm sure it'll be tightly contested. GO BRUINS:suds:

A lot of articles I am reading have the Bruins penciled in for the Stanley Cup Finals. Time for the Red Wings to play spoiler yet again.

@HeleneStJames
When Henrik Zetterberg landed post-Sochi in NYC, which NHL Olympian insisted on carrying his backpack for him? Zdeno Chara.

I think this is the team that makes the Bruins most vulnerable. Not sure that means anything, but I don't see anyone else in the east knocking them out.

Yeah, the Bruins were a pretty good team through most of the 70s and 80s while the Wings were pretty bad. Then the Wings started getting better in the early 90s while the Bruins started their downward decline. Of course, being in different conferences meant the only way they could meet in the playoffs would be in the SCF. That all changed last year with another re-alignment.

It's a little like how the Yankees and Tigers played their first ever playoff series against each other in 2006. They used to be in the same division and there were no wild cards back then...only division winners advanced to the postseason.
