Pelini did it in a year when the Big 12 went out of its way to ensure Nebraska would not win a game. Hello Greg Burks and Dan Beebe, may they both have camels urinate in their open orifices during their sleep.

Pelini did it in a year when Nebraska changed conferences.

Pelini is not on the hot seat with me.

If he had the chance to hire someone like Tressel for example, hopefully he wouldn't be loyal to a coaching staff that delights us in blowouts annually!

Blowouts suggest:
- bad coaching
- better talent
-poor development with players
-poor game planning
-not able to adjust

All I read every preseason is how they are ready and then blowout happen in big games and bo confused why?

I know you posted this before the season, but it's unreasonable to expect any college team to hold everyone to 17 points or less with all of the spread offenses out there. Look how good Alabama is on defense and A&M scored 29 points on them last year. A&M also scored 42 on them this year.

UCLA would not have scored 41 on Nebraska yesterday if we had some semblance of offense in the second half especially because UCLA offensively would not have been on the field as much, and our defense would have been more inspired and rested! If Taylor is injured, we DO have a couple of players behind him that aren't injured. Urban Meyer doesn't have a problem playing a second string QB when his starter is hurt, and guess what? They win with that second stringer also! Imagine that!

I don't see any reason to expect things to change anytime soon with the coaches we have. We better get prepared for at least 2 or 3 more blowouts this season, Northwestern and Michigan for sure.
