i just heard the author's interview on bahe's show...guy sounds like an idiot to me. lots of whining about how eichorst wouldn't comment for him. why the hell would he? he hasn't before, so i'm not sure what makes this guy think he's so special.

and imo the booster just wants to see his name in the paper. the whole situation is kind of annoying to me.

Pelini did it in a year when the Big 12 went out of its way to ensure Nebraska would not win a game. Hello Greg Burks and Dan Beebe, may they both have camels urinate in their open orifices during their sleep.

Pelini did it in a year when Nebraska changed conferences.

i don't have a problem with it. I probably would have left off the top 10 finishes and competing for national championships. But to me the blowouts have him in the hotseat. You can't give up that kinda yardage when you are a defensive coach. I probably would have just said win us a conference championship instead of competing for national championships.

Nothing surprising in what he said. He said what many think.

You'll always have those who think you can only be a "true" fan if you ignore all negative aspects of the program but there are plenty of others who want to address those aspects and a lot of us hope it is with Pelini at the helm but won't ignore the fact that may not be possible.

to me it feels like it should be an in-house thing. for instance, if i've got an issue with my brother, i can bitch to my family about it, but it becomes a problem when i start talking to the neighbors. as a booster, i don't think he should be talking to the media like that.
