What do you guys think about him? I think we got a steal. He's a guy who can be a short yardage and GL monster and can still get 10 carries a game and help out. Then if Ridley goes down we have another back who can step in and start.

Vereen is the key to the RB corp IMO he is verstile, fearless, has great hands, runs well in the open field. I think he is the punch in the one two punch

any interest in Jahvid Best? we still dont have that back that can break a long one for a TD. he ran 4.25 - 4.34 40 yard dash, Vereen runs a 4.5 40. we got two powerbacks in Ridley and Blount, Vereen a 3rd down back. Id pick up Best and drop Boldin! Boldin dont give us much difference from Ridley Blount.

Best takes just ONE decent shot to the head, and he's done. He's fast, but he's damaged goods. Not worth the risk of signing, IMO.

Blount has potential but has tailed off since his rookie season. Honestly not sure what to expect from him. but I hope to see Vereen get more touches....especially in the passing game.

i remember wanting to draft Best that draft, he was an explosive athlete. his injury risk is deffinitly scary. one thing though is he wouldnt have to come in here and be "the man" like he was in detroit. that could take some pressure and reps off him. id like to get someone that can break the homerun i thought we had that in demps.

Briz who would you rather have. Blount or Best. I'd say get rid of Blount pick up best. Bolden can do what Blount can do and does not fumble as much.

No thanks I just don't see the need. Now if we are willing to cut Tebow I could compromise

Sign Best to an incentive 1 year contract and run him through preseason. If he doesn't make the cut, see yah.
He may replace Washington with his speed.

The problem with Blount is that he can't protect the QB in passing plays so that makes him 1 dimensional. Hopefully he has been working on that. I loved watching him play in Bucs games (hurdling DBs made me go insane!). He does have a temper but that may be controllable in your system.

Good luck with him. He is a fun bruising player to watch.

his hurdling is impressive when you consider hes 250 pounds. for a guy his size hes incredibly athletic.

looks like demps is going to try and be at bucs camp. man i wish the pats didnt give up on him i think hes gunna be a beast. but blount is good too so i guess its pretty even trade.

He could also represent problems down the road too. Hopefully he won't and he is flying straight now.
