Meeks understanding the situation well. Stops the clock forcing the quick foul

great comeback..i thought they went with the same guys a little too long. should have brought blake back around the 2 minute mark..not having a PG out there took its toll in the end...2 back to back bad possessions...turnover by meeks and bad shot on the other.

Hell of an effort. All for naught, though...

Henry had a real good game but made a real bad decision when it really counted. Need Kobe back to take that last shot also instead of Meeks. Even Farmar would of been nice. I think he could of at least not got it blocked. But Henry and the rest of the bench mob did as much as they could. Clean up for the pathetic starters. I would dock all the starters pay for one game.

Considering their coming together with many new players, injuries(aside Kobe/Nash), I thought this where they'd be hovering at or below .500. The obvious silver lining is their tenacity game-in, game-out vs. last years' squad - just love their balls-out willingness to get the job done. We know what needs to be fixed: interior D, dribble penetration, and sustaining 4 quarters' effort. Having Sacre does not hurt us and may pay dividends down the road if coach sticks with him.

Yea, losing Farmar hindered our chances last night as he brings a steady calm/flow to the best bench in the league, so far.

Countdown has begun to Kobe making his first appearance maybe this weekend....

LAKERUSCBAM. I like what I see with Sacre and the presence he brings to the defensive end of the court in the paint. His O is not bad either and he does not make too many mistakes. He altered shots last night. He just needs more playing time. And if Don'tknowi would get his head out of his backside and leave the guy in there, especially when Gasbag is tanking the night like last night, I guarantee you Sacre will pay dividends down the road.

Ram: I like the name you give coach :).....you're right, based on past two games I think he's earned the minutes. Between him, Hill, maybe Kaman(strange he's suited up but hasn't played a minute), and Gasbag(no love lost here I see :) ), we hope to get better in the paint.

That's where we've been taking the most damage. Out-rebounded on both sides, and opponents driving with alarming regularity. Sacre put in some quality minutes last night, but D'Antoni pulled him out when he was his hottest. Don't know what he was thinking there...

I'd like to see Ryan Kelly get a crack at playing. With Gasol hobbled, this would be a great time to see what this kid can do.

I agree Silas. Kelly could be another major scorer off the bench which is already nearly outscoring the starters on a nightly basis. It is like we have a better team coming off the bench than the one that starts the game and Kelly with more minutes would add to the three-fest that the bench usually brings to every game.
