Is that Tebow was willing to change positions, sign for the league minimum and even be a 2nd string tight end. Colin Kaepernick will only sign as a starter, and wants to be paid among the top tier quarterbacks and is not willing to be a backup.

The big difference is that Kaepernick has no interest in being anything but a player. Tebow has shown interest not only to be an analyst but also coaching and playing, so over his time he has put more time into understanding football as a business as apposed to someone who only cares to play and not the business side of the game. So Tebow will go along with anything to get into the business side of football, where CK only wants to play at what he feels is his worth. There is nothing wrong with giving yourself a set price and position, but you have to be flexible at the same time or you will shoot yourself in the foot, which is why CK is having such a hard time with this. These are two different types of people in it for two completely different reasons.

The big difference is that Kaepernick wasn't a 2x college football champion and Heisman trophy winner and having the very coach that developed him be the head coach of a football team.

I think that "who you know" is just as important as an education in all aspects of life. Nothing wrong with that.

People forget Kaepernick was the only D1 QB to pass for over 10,000 yards and rush for over 4000 in an NCAA career. Not sure if he still is. He was on a par with Tebow in college except for....Nevada compared to Florida.

Anyway....

Tebow is all about his faith and doing what is right for..... all...... those around him. Kaepernick only concerned with his race, or so it appears. That is a huge difference.

I was gonna say tebow’s issue is that he shares his faith, while kaep shares made up fictional bullshit like a whiny little bitch.

Kaep cares about a false narrative with no basis in reality

His tryout is a great example of this.
Yep. He claims it’s because the NFL required him to sign some bogus contract... but really it boiled down to the fact that the contract forced him not to be able to use his own filming crew.

That should tell you what sort of picture he was trying to paint during a “tryout”

The Tebow-Kaep argument doesn’t hold much water. To me the only reason that JAX is humoring this circus tryout for the summer is because of Urban Meyer...

That’s it, that’s all. Don’t need to read any further into it or to speculate about whether he makes the 53. If he makes that team then Urban Meyer will have a shorter NFL career than I thought

I don't get the impression that Kaepernick has any interest in being a player at all.
