i was at a kentucky/LSU basketball game in the 90s where we gave up a 30pt halftime lead

Comebacks like that happen all the time in basketball with proper strategy, 3 point shots, timeouts, and free throw 1-and-1s.


They are not unusual.


But a collapse like that in football is unthinkable.


It is practically impossible to lose a game in that circumstance (in regulation time as well).

Don't really watch basketball but I don't think it is possible for a basketball team to have as epic a collapse as WSU had.
