This has been a great tourney so far
Thankfully Charleston Southern didn't get a free ride to the conference finals. This will probably water down the final 68 though........

You guys were right on about how anybody could win this thing. Even Longwood has played their way into a shot at the finals.

CSU: enjoy the NIT.

Charleston Southern has an RPI in the 160's. Nothing about them being absent from the tournament is going to water it down.

A bye all the way to the conference title game. I think that would make for a much better NCAA tourney as well as the better teams would more frequently get bids. While a 13-19 team making the tourney is a nice story it waters down the product and none of those teams are ever going to pull an upset. If one bid leagues gave their regular season champs a free pass to the league title game you'd still get the drama of the cinderella teams but you would more often get the BEST teams from that league in the tourney.

Congrats to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. Good luck against Kentucky or Virginia in the first round.
