As games go at this juncture of the season, the outcome of this one, will go a long way towards whatever hopes this team and loyal fans have with respect to qualifying for a playoff berth. A loss and we're looking for a lot of help (and some luck) from others. A win and we give ourselves a fighting chance at controlling our own destiny.
Two weeks ago, there were barely any supporters believing that this team would get a win in Seattle, but they did. The following week a more confident fan base thought that a win against Minnesota was more certain, but a 38 - 30 loss spoiled those hopes. In our beginning of the season predictions, I penned a 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 finish and now almost certain that we conclude the season at 8-8. Digging out from a two game hole that a loss in New Orleans puts us, would be inconsistent with what we've done this year. While there's a significant number of folks believing that we lose this one, I am not among that group...Washington 26 - New Orleans 23.
Player of the game? Josh Doctson who announces his readiness to be accounted for by opposing defenses with 2 TD's and over 100 yards receiving.
Memorial moment.....A KO or PR for TD!!
As usual we ask for your predictions as related to:
1. Who wins this game?
2. Final score.
3. Player(s) of the game.
4. Memorial moment, event or play, that will have them buzzing at the water cooler on Monday.
