I said you guys wouldn't like that statement.

Which three or four are better than Mahomes? Not the team, just the QB.

It's tough and I don't agree but
Mayfield
Rudolph
Stidham

I peg Mahomes at 2 behind mayfield. It is close with Rudolph though.

Mayfield is better than Mahomes. I think Stidham has a really good chance at being better. Rudolph is a better passer but he's got concrete feet so Mahomes probably gets the nod by a bit there.

Mahomes is part of the reason Mayfield isn't still at Tech and Stidham decommitted from Tech because he was there. Once Mahomes decided not to pursue baseball....

Rudolph, Baker, Russell and Stidham at Baylor. Think even Hill will possibly be better.

Haha. The biggest reason is the douchebag coach though.

True, haven't thought of that. He could be the best. Especially if we are just talking nothing around him.

Nope. No way Rudolph is. Mayfied, Russel/Stidham have much better supporting casts. I agree Hill may be if he's grown up and listens to Cumby.

Mahomes spends half the time running for his life. Imagine if he didn't have to.

He had a better offensive line than Rudolph last year.

Rudolph was a TE in high school before converting to QB. He isn't a dual threat guy but has shown decent movement in the pocket in the past. He is more mobile than he gets credit for.

He does a good job stepping into the pocket to buy time, but isn't someone you have to worry about pulling the ball on you though.

Weren't most of Mack's recruiting classes in the top 10 every year if not the top 5? Let's go back a bit....

2006 - 4rd
2007 - 3rd
2008 - 10th
2009 - 3rd
2010 - 2nd
2011 - 5th
2012 - 3rd

Damn. LOW talent?

I myself find it somewhat hard to believe that, with a recruiting ranking average of 4.2 there in those numbers.

Now don't get me wrong, I'll concede that a number of those STATISTICALLY HIGHER RANKED COLLEGE FOOTBALL RECRUIT players had no talent when they were recruited by yall....heck, they chose yall....that only proves that they may not be the most "cerebral" of players. But the coinkydink of ALL that talent having NO talent seems a little too....oh I don't know.....bullshit?

you can call it what you will, but look at the NFL draftees list.

whether the rankings were flawed, or the coaching sucked, or some of both? Whatever, but the fact is, they had no talent at working hard and winning games. Or getting drafted.

Pretty decent teams up to 2010, but even that 2009 squad had a number of holes, e.g. Offensive line (not a Big12 performer in the bunch) and running back.

I think you are right. Mahommes looks really good to me.
Rudolph is too inconsistent for me. Perhaps, I am reading to much into his performance vs Texas.

This list is stupid. What does the 2006 class have to do with what Strong inherited? Odd you left out the 2013 class that was 17th.. Lame ass attempt.

That list is correct.

I was just defending Mack, you guise are so mean and spiteful.

OK since you want inclusion, here you go. Here is the rating of the last 3 classes that Strong would have had on roster:
17+3+5=25/3=8.something

8th best recruiting class on average is what Strong inherited....finishing way worse than that every year he's been there.

There is no attempt going on here, only the stating of facts....something you donghorns dismiss so easily to fit your narrative.

THE NARRATIVE is that texico sucks...and my statements of fact PROVE that to be true.

Just pointing out you put in a bunch of irrelevant classes and did not add the class that reflected poorly on argument. The other one you didnt mention is the Strong/Mack class. Though I would like to blame Mack on that, I think the administration has more fault on that one. not to mention that 8 average doesnt hold up
