Are you familiar with The Rhythm of the Saints? Pretty sure it followed Graceland, at first I did not like the album, it wasn't one of those albums that hits you right away. I continued to listen again and again and as the album grew on me I gained a greater appreciation. I am sure you likely heard it, just felt compelled to mention it.

I like that he had continued to learn and explore music evan after he wa successful with the folk music. Graceland was all about Ladysmith Black Mambaso. Rhythm of the Saints was all Brazilian... His Broadway show didn't work out, but at least he tried something new again.

Great musician.
