I was bored yesterday and was thinking of the best NBA players to come out of my home state (Michigan). I was curious to see what lineup other states would have.

Here is my starting lineup of the best NBA players from Michigan:
PG- Magic Johnson (Lansing)
SG- George Gervin (Detroit)
SF- Glen Rice (Flint)
PF- Dave DeBusschere (Detroit)
C- Chris Webber (Detroit)

Undersized front court with an undersized DeBuscchere at forward and Webber at center, but that backcourt of Magic/Iceman is an offensive machine, not to mention Glen Rice put up tons of points in his prime.

At this point I'd put Draymond Green in ahead of Rice at SF.

If he keeps up this current pace of play then no doubt, I just can't at the moment on my team because of the small sample size of his career

So I call Michigan home now, but I grew up in Cali. A lot to pick from that state.

PG-Russell Westbrook
SG-Ray Allen
SF-Paul Pierce
PF-Kevin Love
C-Bill Walton

Not many could stop Walton in the brief period he was healthy, and I chose Love along side him for his ability to both stretch the floor and leave space for Walton and also get a ton of rebounds.
Westbrook's ability to drive along with Allen's quick release from 3 would be deadly (almost went with Reggie Miller, but Allen beat him by a hair in my mind). And Pierce, as much as I dislike him, is solid and clutch at the SF.

Well, if you only play offense, no, but if you want to play both ends of the floor and need some help on big men because your PF is only 6'6" you may consider it.

I considered Rudy Tomjanovich over DeBusschere at the PF since he has a couple of inches on him

Aldriddge, Bosh, or Larry Johnson at Power Forward?

I guess we could play Bosh at Center.

You should go Oliver Miller, he will literally eat the other team alive.
