Ahh very true. Seems in the NFL very few times do players and teams leave each other on good notes. But those 2 situations definitely as a Bronco fan stick out above the rest. Maybe Tebow leaving is the only other one I can remember being in that company. Pretty much he and his family lied to the media about why he went to the Jets compared to the Jaguars and man that ticked off Elway and he came on the radio that next day to make sure they knew the real story that they gave him a choice and he CHOSE to go play for Rex Ryan instead of maybe start for the Jaguars.

Panthers @ Broncos, SB match-up to kick off the season definitely a game to watch. For all you "busy" people that say TNF sux ... GTFO

Homer pick: Pats @ Cards. But, there is the Jimmy factor, who doesn't want to see how the Pats do without Brady? This game is a must watch for that reason only. Oh, also, he's gonna light up the vaunted AZ D like a Xmas tree ...

Well and this one isn't really a true Thursday night game in the sense of only having a few days to prepare. They have had an entire off season to prepare for this one.

Agreed. Even if you hate the teams it is an intriguing match up and like you said first real game in a very long time. I love that the NFL kicks the season off like this with a huge match up that is must see tv. Plus I don't mind the fact that the Broncos get a nice 10 day lay off to regroup after what should be a pretty physical game on both sides of the ball.

Mile High is def an advantage for you guys, and then as you say, a 10-day period until the next game after playing a ruff and tuff D like the Panthers.
